Be flexible in doing post

We understand that moms and dads are no expert and could be shy when it comes to posing. But to capture great photos, you have to be open to trying out different positions. Get crazy with your poses. You can bring your own preferred props to the location and we can also provide props which you can use. We can bring in letter boards, chalkboard, dried flowers, baby books, baby clothes or baby shoes, fruit baskets, toys and other materials which you may want to use. Play around and have fun. Do not just stand or sit and smile at the camera. Who knows you might have some modeling talent inside of you.

Be comfortable with different shots

Our photographers will be taking in both wide and close angles for perspective options. Do not be conscious if close up shots are taken. Talk to your partner and be confident in front of the camera. Show us how proud you are with that baby bump. Our photographers will also know if you are not comfortable in front of the camera. You can always tell our team if you need more time for breaks and settling in. Do not hesitate to communicate. We love to take candid shots. We will be taking photos when you least expect it. Oftentimes, this becomes the favorite shots of our clients.

Check your outfit

Let us know beforehand if there are specific outfits which you want to try on and we’ll help look for them or recommend where to find them. Choose your outfit well especially when doing outdoor shots like on a field. We want you to feel comfortable with what you are wearing while doing those poses. You can wear bright colored dresses or traditional garments depending on your theme and preference. Just make sure that you can freely move around with your outfit. We don’t want you tripping down or having difficulty moving around because of your clothes.
